Hawkeye returns to the Marvel Universe in Captain America: Civil War. Jeremy Renner reprises his role as Clint Barnes and Hawkeye. He will join Team Cap for Civil War. Where will he go after it, we don’t know.
At the Silicon Valley Comic Con, Jeremy Renner answered questions about potential movies and a possible Netflix series. He would love to do a Black Widow and Hawkeye joint movie with Scarlett Johansson. When asked about a Hawkeye Netflix series, he stated it is a great model and way to explorer his character but it wasn’t really up to him.
I would love to watch either one of these ideas. A Black Widow and Hawkeye movie would be awesome. But a Netflix series focusing on Hawkeye would also be awesome. Well, not as awesome as seeing Scarlett Johansson in a starring role as Black Window along with Renner but still very KOOL.
