On Jan. 1, 2023, Jeremy Renner was involved in a severe accident when attempting to remove snow at his family home. He was a using a large snowplow called a Snowcat. His leg was caught under the Snowcat. Renner sustained intense physical trauma and blood loss.
First responders were able to assist Renner. they applied a tourniquet to keep him from bleeding out. Renner was airlifted to a local hospital.
Renner’s family confirmed the incident and the surgery yesterday. They posted the following in a release.
“We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.”
Renner was able to post to Instagram today. He simply stated “Thank you all for your kind words. 🙏. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”
