Actor Josh Brolin will be the Cable in the Deadpool sequel. It has been reported that Brolin signed on for a 4 films deal to portray Cable. Brolin already is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the villainous Thanos the Mad Titan.
There has been a ton of buzz around which actor would take on the mantle of Nathan Christopher Summers aka Cable. Rumors squirreled around everyone from Ron Perlman, Kurt Russell, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, and Brad Pitt. Any manly man actor above 40 years old had their name thrown out as a possible actor to play Cable.
Internet reaction to Brolin has been positive. Many fans had their favorite choice but most have reacted well to the announcement of Brolin. I was pulling for Perlman to land the role.
Zazie Beetz has been cast as the mutant Domino. Domino has an ability to manipulate probability and has very good luck.
Brolin’s selection as Cable is a solid and good pick. He character should add a serious character to the wacky humor of Deadpool.
