Planet Comicon Kansas City had a great panel on the Grand Ballroom. It didn’t have just one star but had two for this panel. Katee Sackhoff and Chris Bartlett.
Katee Sackhoff is an actress known for two major science fiction roles along with KOOL roles. She was Lieutenant Kara “Starbuck” Thrace on the 2004 reimagining of Battlestar Galactica. Sackhoff is also known for her role as Bo-Katan Kryze on Star Wars. Bo-Katan started off on the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She Reprised on on other animated series of Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: Tales of the Empire. Sackhoff played the live action version of Bo-Katan Kryze on Disney+ Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. She also is the host of the The Sackhoff Show podcast.
These aren’t the droids you are looking for. Chris Bartlett is known for playing various droids in the Star Wars Universe including C3P0. He had played a variety on the different Star Wars series. He has played C1-D1 Protocol Droid, RA-7, Nevarro Copper Droid, 1-Jac, Home One Protocol Droid, C19, Traffic Protocol Droid, and others on series like the Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka.
The panel started off with Katee coming out with C3P0. They were calling him Chris but then the real Chris Bartlett came out to the panel.
This was a fun panel talking about Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica. Chris and Katee showed their humor through out the panel and happily answered questions from fans.
Katee stated the hardest thing about working in science fiction is understanding what some of the dialog means. She stated that she has a problem delivering lines if she doesn’t understand what she is trying to say.
It was a ton of fun seeing both Katee Sackhoff and Chris Bartlett on the stage together.
