Our friends at Lunch Box Press have created a 50 page horror comic, Graveyard Slaughter. It is a comic book anthology that plays to the horror film section of an 80s VHS rental store. They are asking for your support on Kickstarter to get this comic in the hands of fans. There are a ton of rewards and options.
“The stories in this comic harken back to the dark, bloody, subversive horror yarns that sat in clamshell boxes on video stores shelves across the country. They’re gruesome and gory and fun horror tales, and we’re all psyched to be part of the book.” (Kickstarter)
The creative team on this project is amazing. It is packed full of awesome writers and artists. Cullen Bunn is one of the most prolific writers in comics including his current run on Venom for Marvel. In my opinion, he is the best current writer in comics. Javier Saltares is one of the greatest comic artists of all time. He is known for his work on Ghost Rider in the 90s. This comic also includes the amazing writing of Kevin Watkins and art from incredible artists of Gary Bedell, Blacky Shepherd, and Adam McLaughlin.
If you like Horror movies and horror comics, this is a must own. The best way to get your hands on this issue is to support the project at Kickstarter right now. They already have 50 backers in 2 days and have $2,403
