At Planet Comicon Kansas City, they will have two of the stars of the show Kathy Coleman aka Holly Marshall and Wesley Eure aka Will Marshall. PCKC will also have co-creator and master puppeteer Sid Krofft. They will have a group panel on at 1 pm on Sunday in the Grand Ballroom.
I could barely walk when I first saw Sid and Marty Krofft’s Land of the LOST. When it came on Saturday mornings, I was glued to the TV. I stayed glued to it even in re-runs.
I have always loved dinosaurs, and this show increased my love for them. This series was intelligently written where kids loved it and adults were fascinated by the incredible new universe it created. I remember watching this series in re-runs and understanding the closed small pocket universe it was in.
I love the Pylons that caused all sorts of craziness. The Sleestak were scary but cool at the same time. Again, I love dinosaurs and this show had a ton of fun with stop-motion dinosaurs that looked real to my young boy self. And if anyone asks, allosaurus is my favorite dinosaur… because Alice was always cooler than Grumpy.
I am excited to visit my nostalgia with one of my all-time favorite shows Land of the LOST.
