Lynda Carter is Wonder Woman to me. I was a little kid when she was on television as the great Amazonian heroine. When I here Wonder Woman, I automatically picture her. I even have the Wonder Woman theme song as my wife’s ring tone for my phone.
I follow Lynda Carter on Facebook. I love reading what she is currently doing. I think is very smart and very beautiful as a person and physically.
On numerous occasions, Lynda has discussed her positive view of Gal Gadot being named Wonder Woman for the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. She continues to say very good things about Gadot as an actress. Lynda stated that her only concern is that the writers give her character her due. Lynda understands that Wonder Woman’s character for this generation will be defined or refined by this upcoming movie. I agree completely with Lynda and share her concerns.
Gal Gadot is signed on for three movies including the much awaited Wonder Woman solo movie (I have a script plotted out if the studios are interested).
Here is what Lynda Carter has to say about the character of Wonder Woman and what the writers need to get correct.
“I’m very hopeful she embodies the essence of Wonder Woman,” Carter said. “It’s less about super powers and more about heart and intellect and a sense of right and wrong with a goodness in her. The Man of Steel sequel is currently scheduled for release to the big screen on May 6, 2016. This is currently the same opening weekend of the Captain America third movie. If that date holds for both, DC and Marvel will duke it out for comic fans heart and soul.
