According to Variety, the Man of Steel sequel is being delayed a year. It was originally scheduled for the summer of 2015. Warner Bros has now pushed it off until May 6, 2016.
This sequel will not only star Superman but also Batman and Wonder Woman. It is being called Superman VS Batman and others are calling it The Justice League.
Is this delay because the script wasn’t ready yet? Did it get pushed back for schedule conflicts of the stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Amy Adams? Is it possible because they are still trying to cast other members of the Justice League? We won’t know the whys at this time but it is fun to speculate.
