Marvel’s Movies are more than alive and well. Their television division of Marvel is being shut down. The television division that brought you ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Netflix’s Defenders characters and the Punisher, will no longer be functioning in the near future.
All of the current series are being ended. All development on new series outside of Disney+ are being suspended. Jeph Loeb, head of the Television division, is departing.
The series like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision will be Disney+ and are under control of Kevin Fiege from the MCU. It appears that the Television series of the future will interact directly with the MCU and will now be under Fiege and the MCU side of Marvel. This appears to be ushering a new time of continuity and interaction with both Marvel television on Disney+ and HULU with the Marvel movies of the MCU.
it will be interesting to see how things change because of this.
