According to Nerd Ractor, Marvel’s Agent Carter will return for a third season. Fans expected the disappointing news that Marvel’s Agent Carter would be cancelled on ABC. Rating significantly dropped from season 1 to season 2. The season finale had a very disappointing low 2.35 million viewers. Last year they had 4.02 million viewers for the season 1 finale.
A source inside of the studio confirmed with Nerd Ractor that the red hat wearing, butt kicking, and adorable Peggy Carter will get another season. Another season to show the audience how awesome her character and series truly are. A third season of KOOL supporting characters like Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis, Daniel Sousa, Howard Stark , Dr. Samberly, and Rose.
Marvel’s Agent Carter is one of my favorite shows on TV. I love post World War II period time frame. Agent Peggy Carter is a key character in the Marvel television and cinematic universe. She can seriously kick butt. It doesn’t hurt that Hayley Atwell is simply beautiful and elegant.
Marvel and ABC have yet to confirm the renewal. Things could always change and Marvel’s Agent Carter could still be put on ice. But this is great news for fans like me.
