Agent(s) Koenig (Patton Oswalt) at San Diego Comic Con revealed that Mockingbird would show up on this season’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Marvel has announced that Adrianne Palicki will be Bobbi Morse, AKA Mockingbird. She will appear on episode five of the second season and could return for more episodes.
Palicki is a comic book fan and appears to be excited about this role. But this is not her first attempt at portraying a comic book heroine. She was Diane Prince/ Wonder Woman in David E. Kelly’s failed pilot. She was cast as Nadia in the WB’s Aquaman series that was not picked up. She won’t have to worry about those type of production disappointments with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I am very excited to see Mockingbird on the screen. I always loved her character back in the 80s. She is a super spy (turned super hero/Avenger in the comics) with a highly trained body and mind (similar to Black Widow). Her relationship with Hawkeye was always passionate and explosive. You never knew what she would do but you could never count her out. No matter what Mockingbird’s role with Agent Coulson and company is at this time, she will definitely make it exiting.
