The original Devil Dinosaur was a Jack Kirby Marvel comic from the 1970s. Devil Dinosaur was a monstrous red T-Rex. He had a caveman friend named Moon-Boy. This comic was crazy and short-lived. As a child, I really loved the quirkiness of the series.
Marvel is rebooting Devil Dinosaur in the Post Secret Wars world. This series is no longer set in an alternative world where Dinosaurs and Cavemen lived together. This new series set in modern-day New York.
Instead of Moon-Boy, Devil’s companion is Moon Girl. Moon Girl is a pre-teen African-American super genius. Moon Girl’s real name is Lunella Lafayette.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will be an all ages book. This comic can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. There are so few comics that everyone can enjoy but Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is one of them.
This book will flash back to the original Devil Dinosaur world. We will see Moon-Boy and other cavemen. We might see a dinosaur battle or two.
This is a very interesting book. The original comic was a ton of fun and I am hopeful this one will be too. Since it is an all ages book and my son loves dinosaurs, this is a book I will be picking up.
