The Marvel’s new Secret Wars (2015) was an eight issue miniseries. Johnathan Hickman is known for telling the long story. Apparently the story is a little longer than originally projected. Marvel has added an extra issue to better tell the story.
I hate a miniseries that wraps things up too quickly and rushes the pace and story. Sometimes, the final issue is a fluff issue and doesn’t add much to the story. I hope the ninth issue is a quality wrap up issue and not a bunch of fluff and stuff.
