Nike has promised Self Lacing shoes for a long time. They announced this ideal over three years ago. Now they have given Michael J. Fox the first official pair of Nike Mags. He received them just in time for “Back to the Future” Day.

The Nike Mags will tighten the laces as you put pressure on the heel. They have buttons adjust it further more tight or loose.

Nike will start selling these shoes next year. Expect a heavy price tag on these new Nike shoes. Part of the proceeds will go to Michael J. Fox Foundation to fight Parkinson Disease.
Here is the letter Nike sent to Fox with his pair:
