A little while back, Michael Keaton was rumored to be in discussions for a role as a villain in
Spider-Man: Homecoming. According to The Hollywood Reporter, negotiations are back on with the former Batman.The rumors surrounding Keaton’s potential role had him becoming the Vulture. There is a some humor in the fact Keaton was nominated for an Oscar for his role as The Birdman. If he become the Vulture, then he will be another birdman. I smile at the thought of Keaton being a Batman and two different birdmen.No matter the role, if Keaton does accept a role in
Spider-Man: Homecoming, this will be a huge win for Marvel and Sony. Keaton is an A List actor. It might also hurt DC since Keaton is the quintessential Batman for many fans.
