This movie appears to be an adaption of one of my favorite stories from Renaissance literature, Sir Gaiwan and the Green Knight. It is a Chivalric romance story. It is one of the best known Arthurian tales. Sir Gaiwan, a knight of King Arthur’s Round Table, is faced with a challenge from a mysterious Green Knight, who is more than he seems.
I am very excited to see more about this movie, since I love the story it is based on. I am hopeful it fulfill what I have imaged in my head when I read it.
