My Buddy Mr J. Christopher Wilson is reviewing some movies. He has agreed for us to post his reviews here.
The Woman in the Window is about a child psychologist with agoraphobia who has had a mysterious tragedy in her life. As the movie progresses what we think is turned around on us in typical thriller fashion. What makes this interesting is that the plot twists again unexpectedly, and then turns a third corner again.
Keep an eye out for good guys and bad guys and good guys again as the psychology keeps the viewer guessing. A bit unrealistic at times, the stretches work anyway if you suspend your disbelief or look over the minor details. In the end, the movie works for a nice little thriller almost exclusively set inside the protagonist’s house.
