Queen Latifah, Ludacris, and Beau Bridges star in this road trip thriller about a black family from LA who is forced to moved to Houston, Texas after their husband/father dies from an illness.
Their interstate travel was detoured due to road repairs and they were forced to travel small roads through smaller towns and even smaller, bigoted minds.Add a drug cartel, a murder in the motel room next door, a bag of drug money, and a few neo-nazis and you’ve got yourself a thrilling end-of-the-line adventure.For some reason END OF THE ROAD has a 2.3 out of 5 rating, but I find that to be a very unfair rating. This was much more entertaining. It was slightly unrealistic, I thought, but turns out it was all part of the overall plan.
