In an alternate reality told in the comic, Edge of Spider-Verse. Gwen Stacy becomes the super heroine of Spider-Woman. She is a member of an all female punk band named the Mary Janes.
In the real world, the girl punk band, Married with Sea Monsters, did a tribute to the comic and the Mary Janes. They sing “Face It Tiger” as the Mary Janes.
I really like this band and especially the this song, “Face It Tiger” I completely dig the Mary Janes and Married with Sea Monsters. They have made my playlist. The fact that they are doing a tribute to a comic that just recently came out, is completely Geeky KOOL.
