I love when NASA creates a space vehicle that far outlives its supposed “lifetime”. Previous examples include the Mars Rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, that continue to send back amazing info from the red planet.
The Aqua satellite is another of these successes. With a “lifetime” of 3 – 5 years, this satellite has been going for over 10 and Wired posted on their site a collection of “the best” of the millions of images taken by Aqua. You can see the entire show here!
