The new trailer for Amazing Spider-Man was set to hit the web today at 6 pm CDT. I desired to get the trailer up early on GeekyKOOL.com. It is the kind of geeky stuff I love. I became extremely disappointed when I found this trailer was only on Quicktime. For some reason Sony decided to go with Apple and their movie trailer player instead of putting it out for YouTube and other sites to pick it up.
I am not a fan of Apple and Quicktime. I have found Quicktime to have a more limited supply and not as easy to use. In fact, I didn’t have Quicktime loaded on my computer.
I loaded Quicktime so I could watch the trailer. By the way, it is a really good trailer and you can check it out on the Quicktime Site. I attempted to find a way to embed the trailer on GeekyKOOL but I could not find a link to do this. It is strange how easy Youtube is to use in comparison to Quicktime.
