Adora, the twin sister of Prince Adam of Eternia aka He-Man, was kidnapped by the Horde of Etheria. She learned of her past and given the Sword of Protection. With this sword, she transforms into the heroine She-Ra.
She-Ra’s new series will launch on Netflix in 2018. This series will be lead by Eisner Award-winning author Noelle Stevenson as the executive producer. She will bring this 80s heroine back to television with modern take.
This is exciting news for She-Ra fans. Her popularity was high for a few years in the 80s but she has fans of all ages.
Netflix has shown the ability to adapt great animated series like Voltron and adapt them with a new storyline without isolating fans of the original series. Lets hope this series will rock “For the honor of Grayskull“.
