CBS All Access’ new Star Trek Series will be an anthology. It will focus on a new group and time frame for each season. Each season will be a new story. But this anthology will take place during the original Star Trek timeline and not the new timeline of the new movies.
The intial season of the new Star Trek series will take place between Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country movie and Star Trek: TNG.
Will this new Star Trek series carry CBS All Access into the limelight. They already have 100,000 subscribers. Will Star Trek push them into the realm of 65,000 million subscribers like Netflix? We will see.
