According to the EW, there will be no post credit scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Joss Whedon stated that fans will not need to sit through 10 minutes of credits to see a quick scene. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige clarified Whedon’s comments by stating that there will be quick tag scene right after the credits start so there will be a scene but not like the one at the very end of Avengers.
This is a strange turn of events. Marvel movies have made the post credit scene popular since the first Iron Man movie. It almost feels like we are being toyed with just to prove we will stay anyway.
Hopefully the quick “tag scene” will scratch that itch for a post credit scene. Maybe the movie end fight overwhelm us so much that we won’t care. After 3 hours of awesomeness, we just might not care.
If the missing post credit scene is all we have to complain about in this movie, that I will be geek nirvana.
