The rumors surrounding Pacific Rim 2 have been swirling. Over the last year, we have heard how Pacific Rim 2 was green lighted and put on the schedule, in development, postponed and taken off the schedule, and most recently canceled.
Most of this discussion was unconfirmed. The rash discussions of cancellation and the movie being canned has been the buzz of the internet. Yet, no confirmation from Legendary or Guillermo del Toro that the movie will not be made. It was all speculation.
In a tweet, Guillermo del Toro stated Pacific Rim 2 is still on.
