Geeky KOOL’s own Mandy Collins had a great panel about Editing. She discussed the process of editing and the different stages. It isn’t for for books but is for any writing. There are different styles that need to be done.
Mandy discussed the benefits of hiring an editor to do their magic. An editor can make sure the writing can stay consistent in style and tone. They are the bridge between the writer and the reader so the message of the writing come across correctly. s
I had no idea of processes of an editor. I have never seen a panel at a convention on editing and now I am wondering why there are other panels about it. I have always had great respect for editors but it increased with this panel. If you are going to write something like a novel, a good editor is worth their weight in gold.
