According to TMZ, Actor Peter Mayhew has been hospitalized for a bad case of Pneumonia. Mayhew is best known for his role on Star Wars as Chewbacca. According to his wife, Peter is expected to make a full recovery and be discharged in a few days.
I have been a Star Wars fan since I was 7 years old. Chewy has always been on of my favorite characters. I have tried to imitate (poorly mind you) Mayhew’s roars, growls and sounds of Chewbacca since I saw Star Wars in 1977.
