Planet Comicon Kansas City proves they still know their roots. Comic Book fans can look forward to meeting two legends of the comic book industry next March 17-19. Roy Thomas and Garth Ennis will be attending PCKC in 2023.
Roy Thomas is a long time comic writer starting in the 60s. He took over as Editor and Chief of Marvel Comics when Stan the The Man stepped aside. He helped co-create amazing characters such as Wolverine, Carol Danvers, Morbius, Vision, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Valkyrie, and Ultron. He is a LEGEND in the comic book industry.
Garth Ennis started writing comics back in 1989. He had an amazing run on The Punisher and Fury at Marvel. He is known for his war comics such as Battlefields, War Story, Sara, and Johnny Red. He created other comics such as Hitman, Crossed, and Preacher, which was adapted for TV. His best known creation is the dark super hero comic, The Boys, which was adapted for Amazon.
