If you have special needs, Planet Comicon Kansas City is offering assistance to make this convention enjoyable for everyone.
For those who are deaf or have hearing deficiencies, PCKC offers ASL services. You can check out Room 2211 for more details. They offer their service for the show floor and some of the panels.
There is a fully wheelchair accessible entrance is located at the 2200 lobby of Barle Hall. It is on the south east corner of 13th Street and Central. A special seating area is provided in Lobby 2300 for anyone with mobility issues to wait for the show to open. There is seating reserved for those with disabilities on a first come, first served bases. A limited number of Wheelchairs are available through the Convention Center.
If you have fully trained service animal under the care of their owner, house broken, and on a leash, they are allowed at Planet Comicon Kansas City. Only dogs and miniature horses are approved. Comfort animals are not allowed in the convention.
There is a Mother’s Room for nursing moms to feel more secure. It has individually draped areas areas for privacy. Check out Room 2210 for the Mother’s room.
If the Chaos if the convention gets to be too much, there is a quiet room available. Check out Room 2209 for a break way from the noise and hustle.
