Katee Sackhoff, best know for her role of Starbuck on Battlestar Galactica, has taken on another classic geek role. She is Kimberly, the Pink Ranger from Power Rangers, in this fan film. It is a dark and gruesome look at the Power Rangers after the war.
The world has been taken over by the “machines” after the treaty. Old friends are now enemies and things aren’t often what they seem. There is a hunt for the former Green Ranger, Tommy.
It has the feel of Terminator with the machines controlling life in the future. It also has a bit of a Blade Runner vibe. It is a dark dystopia world.
This fan fiction is a mature independent film. There is graphic violence and blood. There is nudity. There is intense cursing including the “F” word. This is a not your kids Power Ranger show. It is “R” rated and no one under 17 should watch this film.
