The Netflix series, “Marvel’s Daredevil” has cast Jon Bernthal as Punisher. Bernthal is most known for his movie career with Wolf of Wall Street, The Walking Dead, and Fury.
The Punisher is a gun totting vigilante who kills the criminal element. After the mafia kills his family, Frank Castle goes on a one manned war against criminals. He uses his skills from his time in the military service to extract revenge and take down the type of scum that killed his wife and son.
The Punisher and Daredevil have met and fought numerous times in the comics. Matt doesn’t condone the Punisher’s judge and jury approach. Frank can’t stand the red tape and the criminals getting away with murder.
I am looking forward to the live action interaction of these two very different characters. Those both have huge personality flaws and a ton of self righteousness. Season 2 should be a fun ride in 2016.
