Legendary director and producer Richard Donner passed away at age 91. The details on his death are not released at this time. His wife, Shuler Donner, whom he married in 1986, survives him.
Donner has a long list of amazing movies and TV shows to his directing credit. He directed Superman in 1978 and a good portion of Superman II when he was released. He directed The Twilight Zone episode, “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,” starring William Shatner. His first feature film was the horror film, The Omen. He had incredible movies like Ladyhawke, Goonies, the Lethal Weapon franchise and many, many more.
