Larger than life and the coolest guy in the room is how I felt the first time I saw Sean Connery. One of the networks was rebroadcasting James Bond movies when I was a boy. I believe Goldfinger was the movie (my favorite Bond movie) I first saw Sean Connery in. Connery’s charism and charm had the farm boy wanting to be secret agent.
I went on to watch Sean Connery in countless films beyond the Bond Series. He was an amazing actor and a legend. Even when the movies weren’t very good, Connery always brought the film to higher level.
No Mr Bond, we didn’t expect you to die (but maybe should have in 2020) and we are saddened by this news. Rest in Peace Sir Sean Connery.
