I am getting this posted a bit late. On Friday October 14, Scottish actor, Robbie Coltrane passed away at 72 years of age. He is survived by his sister Annie Rae, his children Spencer and Alice and their mother Rhona Gemmell.
Coltrane has several acting credits to his name over the decades. He was Fitz on the TV series, Cracker on ITV. He was the memorable Valentin Zukovsky in the James Bond films Golden Eye and the World Is Not Enough. He was even in the Kate Bush video for Deeper Understanding. But Coltrane will always be associated to the Bigger than life with an even bigger heart character of Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies.
Rest In Peace, Robbie Coltrane. You are missed.
