It isn’t a done deal yet but Sam Rami is in talks with Marvel to direct the next Doctor Strange movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The director of the Spider-Man trilogy from the 2000s may end up directing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Rami’s first two Spider-Man films are pretty amazing. He is well known for his horror movies like the Evil Dead. He brings a lot of Geek cred with him.
I am excited by this news. Rami likes to think out of the box. It would be an interesting fit in the worlds of magic.
