Sanctuary was a show that pushed the boundaries of what a “sci-fi” show could do with a limited budget. Originally an online-only offering, the mini-episodes were merged into full-length episodes for broadcast when SyFy greenlit it for a regular series.
The series ran from 2007 – 2011 and left a few dangling threads and questions about “what comes next?”
Well, according to a few sites, Flickering Myth, and SyFy’s own Wire, Deadline reported last week that the series is being either rebooted or revived and is planning on wooing star Amanda Tapping (of Stargate SG1 fame) back to her role as Magnus. Strangely, the link to the Deadline article no longer works but SyFy Wire still has their story up.
