SDCFans has an interesting article about a new Roller Coaster scheduled to open in 2013 at Branson’s Silver Dollar City!
I was a cave guide at the park from 1987 – 1994 (after a brief stint in the parking lot) and I welcome any new coasters as long as they don’t work anything like the incredibly awful “Buzz Saw Falls“. What a disaster that was! Luckily SDC was able to transform that into the amazingly fun “Powder Keg” a few years later.
Now the guessing begins as to where they will put this thing. I’m thinking on the Northeast side where the “Wilderness Waterboggan” used to be.

I know I keep updating but the pictures from Midwest Info Guide place the new coaster behind the Barn Swings and out toward the train tracks north and west of the park. Looking to go on Friday this week so I will try to get some pics myself!
