The new Spider-Man movie has a name and a possible villain. This Spidey movie will be a joint effort between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. It will be titled Spider-Man Homecoming. It is a fitting name since Spidey is coming home to Marvel.
This version of the Web-Head (nickname for Spidey) will be played by Tom Holland. Holland is a 19 year old actor from the United Kingdom. The Wall-Crawler (nickname for Spidey) will be a high school student shortly after Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
There is a rumor that Michael Keaton is in negations to be a Spider-Man villain for Spider-Man Homecoming. There is speculation that Keaton could be the Vulture. The Vulture is an older criminal with special mechanical wings.
Keaton brings experience with super hero movies. He was Batman in the 1989 Batman and the 1992 sequel Batman Returns. More recently Keaton was The Birdman, which is really fitting for the character of the Vulture. If Keaton takes the role this may upset some die hard DC fans since Keaton will move to a Marvel villain.
