The fine folks at Google have added a bunch of new cities to their Maps system for traffic information. Springfield, Mo is one of 130+ “smaller” cities that have joined in on gathering traffic information and updating Google Maps with real-time data.
The traffic info is available on the web portal for GMaps as well as the mobile app for all platforms.
You can also help improve the data collected if you use the maps program while traveling around the city and even more so if you use GPS to get a more accurate read on your location. More info can be found at the Google Maps Blog.
