Disney made an announcement about Star Wars today at their annual shareholder meeting. The next Star Wars movie will occur 30 years after the end of Return of the Jedi. This will enable the original actors like Mark, Carrie, and Harrison to take a part in this film. The Ceo of Disney Bob Iger was quick to remind us that the only official cast member in this movie is R2D2 at this time. (The Nerdist)
This is pretty cool news. We all assumed that this would be the timing of this movie. We have heard the unconfirmed remarked by Mark, Harrison, and Carrie that they will be in this next Star Wars Film.
