Disney made numerous announcement at D23 Expo 2015 over the weekend. Here is another really KOOL Star Wars announcement. Here is the first image from the individual stand alone Star Wars movie, Star Wars: Rogue One.
The plan is to have a new trilogy movie out ever 2 years. The year in between will have a stand alone movie. Star Wars: Rogue One will be the first in between movie.
Rogue One will take place prior to Star Wars: A New Hope. It will explore what it is like to be in a ground war against the Empire. It is directed by Gareth Edwards.
