The Star Wars Celebration is happening in Tokyo, Japan. This always gets some good reveals. Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is coming to theaters on May 22, 2026. The Disney+ series will hyperspace into theaters.
The crowd was shown a trailer for the movie but that trailer has not been officially been released for the public. They did drop the teaser trailer below. The reports state the crowd watched an action packed trailer.
Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, Jon Favreau and a few special friends came together to celebrate The Mandalorian and Grogu during Star Wars Celebration Japan.

Along with the trailer, The Star Wars Celebration announced actress Sigourney Weaver. It wasn’t announced what character she will play. No mention of other Star Wars characters showing up like Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, or Ahsoka Tano.
