The event that started out as a joke, did happen yesterday. The Storm Area 51 event did occur as scheduled except there wasn’t any storming of the Air Force Base. The event was meant for humor and to bring to light the idea of the government hiding information on aliens.
Over two million stated on Facebook committed to this event. The event ended up being split into three separate events. The original even took place in a near by town of less than 100 residents. The second event was sponsored by Bud Light and held downtown Las Vegas. The third event was held in Hiko as a convention for True Believers. Matty Roberts, the original event creator decided to join the event in Las Vegas.
The numbers of actual people that showed up at the gates of Area 51 was a small group estimated around 100 people. There was no charging the gate nor any violence. This is good news since the Air Force had warned any attempt to break onto this base would be met with force.
Sadly, there isn’t any new news about aliens.
