What was life like on the planet Kryton for Kal-El’s (Superman) grandfather? At this time, the House of El was shamed and ostracized. His grandfather fights to bring honor back to his family. Krypton on SyFy is the series to reveal this story. The pilot episode was given the green light for production.
The pilot is written by two fantastic writers. Ian Goldberg is a writer for Once Upon A Time and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. David S. Goyer wrote many iconic DC movies including Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, and many more. Goyer is the executive producer and creator of Kryton.
The story of the end of Krypton is well known. The story of life on Krypton before the explosion isn’t fully fleshed out.
The concept of this story is pretty KOOL. I have twinge of fear about this series. It reminds me of the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica. While I liked Caprica, it paled in comparison to Battlestar Galactica.
