We extend our hearts, our thoughts, and our prayers out to Sandy Hook School and the whole Newton, Connecticut community. Our hearts are broken with this tragic shooting at this elementary. As a parent of two kids, I cannot image the horror of losing a child nerveless at the hands of deranged killers. Schools should be safe havens for our children.
The surviving children will also be permanently scared from this shooting. The horror of seeing classmates and fellow students murdered is beyond belief. There is healing for the survivors but it is a long process.
The teachers and staff will also be affected in tragic ways.
Life is precious and the life of a child is even more precious.
