The Asylum is a movie studio known for their ‘mockbuster’. Mockbuster is the term for a knock off of a blockbuster film. The Asylum is known for movies like Atlantic Rim and Transmorpher. Their movies feel more like a SyFy Saturday movie than a true blockbuster.
Here is their latest with a knock off of Godzilla VS Kong with Ape vs. Monster. The effects are much more cheesy. The plot from this movie looks right out of a “B” movie. Honestly, if I found this movie on, I would sit down and check it out for the pure fun and cheese of it.
