Sony continues to gamble on the Spider-Man-related characters for movies. The Venom movies have performed well for Sony at the box office. But other Spider-Man related movies like Madame Web and Morbius did not do well in the theaters. There has to be some fear that Kraven will suck (pun intended) like Morbius.
