Actor James Earl Jones passed away yesterday at age 93. Fellow Geeky KOOL writer, Jon Tessler did a great article about Mr. Jones yesterday- check it out here. I wanted to throw in my own quick tribute.
James Earl Jones will always be most associated with the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars films. “I am your father” will always ring through my ears in his voice. My childhood was really formed when I saw Star Wars in 1977. I played Star Wars with friends. We all had the action figures. Mr. Jones’ voice was always a huge part of this.
Mr. Jones was an amazing actor who starred in a lot of films and was a great voice actor. He always accepted and found love for us Star Wars geeks. I love the scene where Sheldon meets in the Big Bang Theory. See the video below.
