Comic Book and Geek Convention season has become a year around. Here are three upcoming Conventions in driving distance of Springfield, MO. These three are very different from each other and fit different niches.
G.A.M.E. ( Gaming Arts Media Expo) will be held in Springfield, MO on Friday October 9 at 10 AM to Sunday October 11 @ 6 pm. This year is G.A.M.E. 007 for this convention. It will be held at the Springfield Expo Center in Springfield, MO.
G.A.M.E. is a huge game and geek convention spanning over 3 days. They have Table Top Gaming, LARPing, Trading Card Games, Electronic Gaming, Costume Contest, Role-Playing Games, Board Games, Performances, Panels, Vendors, Clubs & Orgs, and Workshops.
Wizard World is bringing their unique Convention style to Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday October 23 through Sunday October 25. It will be held at the Cox Business Center, 100 Civic Center,Tulsa, OK.
Wizard World Conventions are experts on pulling in tons of Comic Book creators, tons of geeky vendors, and a bunch of television and movie stars. This is a geekfest for all types and levels of geeks and nerds. Here are a few of the big names for Wizard World Tulsa: Bruce Campbell; Sean Astin; Christian Kane; Sonequa Martin-Green; and Taryn Manning.
Freedom Comics in Lebanon MO is hosting the first Lebanon Halloween Comic Con. It actually begins Friday October 3o and runs through Halloween. This new convention will only cost $5 for one day or 7.50 for a two-day pass.
They will have Magic game contest, games, Costume contest, artists, vendors, and special guests. Author Jae B. Wells and Artist Josh D Cullen are two of their special guests.
