I have lived my whole life in Missouri. Much of my family is spread out across Southwest Missouri. Everyone knows of the Current River. it is a big river to go floating on in the summer.
I have also heard the rumors of Sasquatch in our area of the country. We have a lot of forest and rivers in this part of Missouri. The rolling plateau of Ozarks makes a perfect place for a Sasquatch or bunch of Sasquatch to live.
No one I know has seen a Bigfoot. We grew up joking about people that claimed to have seen a Sasquatch. But down deep, I have always been curious and thought the Ozarks would be a perfect place for one of these creatures.
It honestly goes back to the 70s. My favorite Television series was The Six Million Dollar Man, at that time. He most famously confronted Big Foot on the series. That was such a could few episodes with Big Foot and Steve Austin.
Since then, I have always been fascinated with things we cannot explain like Sasquatch, ghosts, Aliens, and other possible monsters. I wasn’t a believer but I have always wondered what if.
Below is an interesting documentary about couple of farmers living out near the Current River. They tell their story of something that was killing deer in mass on their property by snapping their necks. The story gets weirder as it is told. Then things changed one day. If you believe that Sasquatch are possible or just a fairytales, check it out and see what you think. If you agree with the story or not, it still is pretty geeky and KOOL.
